Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer / Designer

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer / Designer, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

• Mechanical (HVAC system) design and layout

• Load calculations

• Sizing and selection of commercially available equipment

• Coordination between disciplines, inside and outside the office

• Preparation of construction contract documents, including drawings and specifications

• Provide exemplary customer service to internal team members, as well as clients

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

· BSME

· 2-5 years experience in the commercial A/E engineering field

· Working Autodesk® REVIT knowledge

· Knowledge of building codes and standards

· Ability to perform multiple functions in a dynamic, multi-deadline environment

· Ability to work effectively within a team orientated collaborative environment

· Excellent communication and time management skills

Preferred qualifications for this role will include:

· Engineer in Training (EIT), Active Professional Engineering License is a plus

· LEED accreditation or interest in obtaining
