Associate Food Scientist / Product Development Technician

We’re looking for passionate, driven, and ambitious people to join our fast-growing team.

This role involves supporting the product development of novel food products. This individual will learn how to create, develop, and test vegan products at the proof of concept and through the commercialization stage.

Professional Qualifications:

Possess strong technical and functional skills and curiosity to learn
Conduct hands on work to explore and optimize ingredients in formulations and processes of manufacturing food
Understand food chemistry and how to apply what has been learned in coursework to practical culinary and product development formulations

Personal Qualifications:

Recent graduate with Associate or Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Culinology, Hospitality or related field
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal and listening skills
Comfortable working in a start-up environment
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and jump in to help other team members
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take technical direction
