Dental Hygiene Coach
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Introduces and maintains compliance of company policies, procedures, objectives, mission, and values of Hudec Dental
-
Communicates with the hygienist team on such topics as company happenings, training topics, chart reviews, etc.

Holds quarterly and semi-annual meetings with hygienists
-
Trains, coaches, mentors and develops all hygienists
-
Provides professional and technical expertise to oral health staff and management to maximize the effectiveness of oral health programs.

Evaluates performance and training needs in relation to company objectives for hygienists
-
Develops, plans, and evaluates oral health programs (universal perio program).
-
Sets goals, assume overall responsibility for goals and review goals on an annual basis.
-
Assists in recruitment and hiring of hygienists
-
Monitors production and schedules
-
Acts as the liaison between internal and external clinical and community oral health programs
-
Researches and evaluates oral health trends.
-
Provides extraordinary patient care by example and by coaching
-
Attends mandatory meetings, such as monthly manager meetings, training meetings, etc.
-
Resolves patient concerns in a professional and timely manner
-
Monitors goals of providers and office on a weekly basis
-
Monitors quality and quantity of daily output on a daily basis
-
Compiles and analyzes all monthly reports
-
Creates and deploys standard operating protocols and processes for Hudec Dental hygienists
-
Institutes and enforces a universal perio program for Hudec Dental
-
Performs clinical duties with patients if needed
-
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Certifications:
-
Must have a current and active Ohio Hygienist Licensure
-
Must have Hepatitis B Vaccinations Records
-
Current CPR
Experience:
-
2-5 years of prior experience. Prefers 1-2 years management or training experience.
-
Must have strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
-
Must have a high level of accuracy in data entry
-
Must be able to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in the English language.
-
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
-
Must have excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills, presentation skills
-
Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions
-
Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast paced environment
-
Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to develop a rapport with customers over the phone.
-
Must have reliable transportation, 60-75% of travel between offices
-
Knowledge of training techniques and principles.
-
Knowledge of research techniques and methods.
-
Skill in establishing working relationships in a team setting
