In Vivo Biologist

We pursue ground breaking research in a highly interdisciplinary environment to enable the next generation of nucleic acid innovation. These technologies will expand the impact of our existing pipeline in small-interfering RNAs (siRNA) and our emerging pipeline in additional nucleic acid modalities. We work in collaboration with colleagues across NTM and therapeutic areas (e.g., Neuroscience Next Generation Therapeutics (NGTx)).

Design and implement in vivo evaluation of nucleic acid formulations (e.g. dose animals, perform IVIS imaging, process organs, etc.).
Perform downstream ex vivo processing (e.g. tissue isolation, RNA isolation, qPCR, flow cytometry, etc.).
Procedure optimization, data analysis, and result presentation.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master degree in biology, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field.
2 or more year hands-on laboratory experience with in vivo study design and sample processing.

Additional Preferences:

Strong hands-on background in nucleic acid related research including but not limiting to molecular endpoints, in vitro assay, formulation, characterization and cell-based assay.
Strong motivation, organizational skill, and work ethic.
Systematic and analytically-minded while embracing and supporting an open, communicative, and collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform experiments to aid characterization and development of nucleic acid delivery strategies for the next generation of genetic therapies.
