Managing Health Scientist

We are currently seeking a Managing Health Scientist to join our Chicago, IL office. We are particularly interested in consulting or subject matter experts in the field of human health risk assessment with expertise in industrial hygiene, toxicology, epidemiology or environmental science.
Successful candidates will be technical authorities in their designated field, and will be able to demonstrate strategic technical leadership to develop, expand, and leverage technical areas. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Provide strategic consulting and technical leadership
> Work with our corporate business development team and leverage technical expertise to draw business and expand client network
> Secure and manage the execution of technically diverse projects
> Work with, manage, and mentor multi-disciplinary staff of health scientists including engineers, toxicologists, industrial hygienists, epidemiologists, environmental scientists and public health professionals
> Publish and present study findings in peer reviewed literature and at scientific conferences
> Some travel expected
Basic Requirements:
> MS or PhD in industrial hygiene, toxicology, epidemiology or environmental science or related field
> 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience 
> Expertise in human health risk assessment
> Experience presenting research findings in academic/peer-reviewed settings and at professional meetings> Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong publication record
> Excellent leadership and mentorship skills
> Ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
> Expert witness work a plus (but not required)
