What You Will Do

Looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist for our Division of Rheumatology.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Hospital to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

Practice has been in existence since 1982
Consists of 10 Infectious Disease physicians, 14 Hematology/Oncology physicians and 2 Rheumatology physicians
Three office locations – Southfield, Novi and Bingham Farms
There are 32 plus chairs dedicated for chemotherapy and antibiotic infusions
Call schedule and holidays split evenly amongst physicians

Responsibilities:

Each physician spends majority of their time seeing patients in the office; new patients, consultations, follow-up visits and various infusions
Remainder of their time spent covering inpatient consults at Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus and Novi Campus and one other nearby hospital on a rotating schedule
Special interest and willingness to teach and round with medical students, residents and fellows when on service

What You Will Need

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Preferred Credential(s):

• Board Certified Internal Medicine

• Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatology

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
