Product Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
Manage the sustaining manufacturing product and/or test engineering teams with responsibilities including yields, product changes, test, factory readiness, and product transitions.
• Own the process, systems, and tools affecting the integrity of the products shipping from the CM network. Drive continuous process improvements to improve quality and improve delivery predictability and proactively measure the organizational performance and CMs to prevent out-of-compliance performance.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and product requirements, with respect to the feasibility of projects. Direct projects, making plans to accomplish goals, integrating technical activities, and managing the budget.
• Interact internally and externally with management to influence policy and future product designs, in ambiguous environments, developing and sustaining alignment through communication with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate engineering initiatives across quality, manufacturing, mechanical, and partner engineering teams.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, Quality, or Reliability.
  • 5 years of people management experience.
  • Experience supporting products with or at CM/ODM/JDM partners and experience with enterprise server and/or network solutions or consumer electronics.
Preferred qualifications: 
  • Advanced degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
  • Experience with PCBA and system level testing and      manufacturing.
  • Experience launching products at CMs or ODMs.
  • BOM structures and Product Data Management (PDM)      experience.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
