Product Manager Wheat Midds Job Description
Reporting to the Director of NA Feed Products, this position is part of the merchandising team for Carb Co-Products, focusing on Wheat Midds in the U.S.  This person will work in a team environment within the Carb Co-Products  group while also interacting with other divisions on a daily basis.  They will be responsible for the development and execution of the U.S. Wheat Midds sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Development of sales strategy for U.S. Wheat Midds
  • Development of long term product strategy, capital deployment and cross functional opportunities within Company
  • Partners with Midds Merchandisers to execute sales strategy
  • Aggressively pursuing new markets for Wheat Midds
  • Creating, developing and managing relationships with customers both external and internal
  • Work with our Flour Sales Team on pricing
  • Oversight and ownership of Accounts Receivable and Contract Management
  • Works to attain positive, cooperative relationships with internal colleagues across divisions and responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to develop our marketing strategy such as digital media and print marketing
  • Understands the value of Company owned transportation (i.e. trucks, railcars and barges) and how to enhance value.
  • Understands and has strict adherence to corporate compliance policies and safety systems and programs
  • Prepares and submits daily and ad hoc reports
  • Is willing to work outside normal business hours including weekend when needed
  • Travel within the US expected monthly
Qualifications:
  • University degree in agriculture or business (i.e. economics, finance, accounting).
  • 5-10 years of business leadership experience is required; experience in wheat milling or feedstuffs sales/marketing is beneficial.
  • Strong sales skills and a bold personality are assets in this position along with demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills.
