Senior Electrical Engineer
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer, your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
• Taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects
• Innovative and complex electrical system design
• Meeting and consulting with clients
• Providing guidance to less experienced design staff
• Providing overall project management support to our MEP team leaders
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
· BSEE
· 5+ years consulting experience
· High-energy client services skills; proven ability to work with architects, owners, and GCs
· Excellent communication and planning ability
· Complete understanding of NEC codes
· Thorough design system knowledge
· Experience with Revit MEP
· Experience with single line diagrams, load calculations, system layout, and specifications
Preferred qualifications for this role will include:
· A Professional Engineering License (or equivalent experience)
· LEED Accreditation
· Experience mentoring junior level staff
· Experience in new construction for high-performance design market sectors
