Software Engineer – Universal Media

Key Qualifications

5+ years experience in a professional, programming position
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience creating applications using javascript web frameworks (e.g.: Angular, React, NPM, Webpack, Grunt)
Experience developing RESTful APIs and Java server applications
Experience with relational and non-relational data stores (e.g.: Oracle, Cassandra, Redis)
Experience with container orchestration (eg Kubernetes)
Experience with search platforms (e.g.: Solr)
Experience with *nix and OSX
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Description

We are looking for an outstanding software engineer to join the Apple Universal Media team and help us build the next generation products that change the way millions of users consume video. As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Company, you will be owning key modules of the product and be responsible for delivering industry grade quality solutions.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering or related field5+ years of industry experience

Additional Requirements

Knowledge of SQL and ER modeling
Affinity to great user experience
Familiarity with the media space
